Boko Haram terrorists have killed at least 60 farmers in Rann, Kala-Balge Local Government Area of Borno State.
According to reports, the terror group stromed the farms with guns and machetes and started killing the farmers one after the other.
“The Boko Haram terrorists on motorcycles armed with guns and machetes surrounded their farms and started killing them one by one,” a villager was quoted to have said.
“Over 50 people were buried in Rann on Monday. As it this morning, more dead bodies have been found; the death toll is over 60 now.”
This comes two years after 43 farmers where slaughtered in a rice plantation in Zabarmari, a community in the Jere Local Government Area of Borno State.
