News Flash: Chrisland Schools reopened by Lagos state Government


Lagos state Government has directed the reopening of all Chrisland Schools in the state which was closed down over controversial issues regarding a viral immoral act between the students of the school that was caught on tape.

This was disclosed early
Saturday morning in a press statement by the Lagos State Commissioner of Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo.PUNCH reported.

yanstv.ng had reported several news regarding incident including the immediate shutdown of the school by the Lagos state government.

Recall that some pupils from Chrisland school where caught on tape committing an immoral while on a school trip to Dubai to participate in the World School Games between March 10 and 13, 2022.

The act which involved some male and a female students of the school, drew controversial reactions from the public and also the government.

The school’s Parent Teachers Association will work towards providing a psychosocial support for the students involved in the immoral act the government Sai d.

The Lagos State Ministry of Education said that all the Chrisland Schools will be reopened from Monday, April 25th, 2022.

The decision to reopen according to state government, comes after a thorough review and investigations by school’s administrative and other statutory authorities in the state.

However, no information yet about the pupils involved in the immoral act who were suspended by the school Management.
