Ambassador Bagudu submits Nomination form for Governorship

Date:

Bagudu Hirse, the former Nigerian Ambassador to Namibia, has filed his governorship nomination form to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Secretariat in Abuja’s Wadata Plaza.

The former Ambassador, who served as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs during the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua’s administration, was escorted to the Wadata Plaza by members of his Gubernatorial Campaign Organization and other well-wishers.

Bagudu expressed confidence for the days ahead after filing the candidacy form, as well as excitement as the governorship primaries approach.

Bagudu Hirse, a three-time gubernatorial candidate, is from the Mangu Local Government Area in Plateau Central, where the State PDP has conceded the 2023 gubernatorial ticket.

During the primary election next month, he will be up against a slew of his Mwaghavul relatives and others for the ticket.
