Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham vying for spot in the Champions League

The remaining few months of the Premier League season promise to be thrilling, with the title, the Champions League spots, and the relegation struggle all to be decided. Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur are all fighting for a spot in the top four by the middle of May, and with it, a place at Europe’s top table by the end of the season.

Currently, Thomas Tuchel’s team is in first place, having spent the majority of the campaign in third place. The Blues tightened their grip on the Premier League title with a 6-0 thrashing of Southampton at St Mary’s over the weekend.

Antonio Conte, on the other hand, looks like he has finally gotten Tottenham back on track. With their 4-0 win over Aston Villa, they look like they have opened up a good gap between them and their north London rivals, Arsenal, who have now lost back-to-back Premier League games.

Thibaut Courtois says that Chelsea will have a big problem as they prepare for the Champions League because they won’t be as good as they could be.

While the competition for Champions League spots is certain to enthrall fans in the capital over the next eight weeks, there is still plenty of other action in English football’s top division.

Manchester City and Liverpool are battling it out for the Premier League crown once more. Following their thrilling 2-2 tie at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon, the two sides are separated by just one point. It’s now a race to the end for Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp to win the Premier League for a second time.

There’s still a lot of mystery on the other side of the table. Burnley lost a crucial relegation battle against Norwich City, while Everton won a big game against Manchester United. Watford, likewise, is running out of time to get out of its quagmire.
