EASTER: SENATOR ALIMIKHENA PREACHES TOLERANCE, LOVE, AND NATION-BUILDING

The Senator representing Edo North Senator Francis Alimikhena has called on all Nigerians to use this period of Easter as an opportunity to rededicate their lives and abilities to God, the Nation, and the Service of humanity by extending the good tidings to the less fortunate in the society.

He described Easter as a time to promote the reality of the Christian Faith by forbearing one another as our brother’s keepers. “We must redefine patriotism by rising beyond partisan politics to build a nation where we see each other as our brother’s keepers irrespective of politics, religion, and ethnicity.”

“Nigerians he said, must all be prepared to make sacrifices in the interest of nation-building, particularly at a time like this when the nation is facing security challenges.”

According to him, “We cannot become a productive nation when the strength of our youthful population is dissipated in hostility rather than other productive endeavors.”

In his goodwill message to Mark the Easter Celebration, the Edo North Senator assures the people of Edo North of his readiness in making the people the center of all his developmental efforts in the coming dispensation. “We have built basic infrastructure, it is time to build the people through productive engagement. Appointments and employment are key elements that will be our focus in the coming phase while we shall continue to ensure the consolidation of our former achievements as we look forward to breaking new ground.

Happy Easter to you all.
