Jigawa Governor Abubakar Badaru has withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential race.

He withdrew from the primary slated for Monday after 10 APC Governors backed power shift to the South in 2023.

Senate President, Ahmad Lawan and Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello are the other two northerners still in the race.
