Senator representing Ondo Central, Patrick Akinyelure has lost his bid to return to the Senate under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The lawmaker was defeated in the party primaries held on Monday, May 23rd 2023.
He polled 58 votes while the winner, Adedipe Ifedayo (SAN) got 82 votes.
