JUST IN: Peter Obi Joins Labour Party


A former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi has formally joined the Labour Party (LP) to pursue his 2023 presidential election.

YANSTV.NG gathered that Obi registered as a member of the party on Friday in his ward in Anambra State.

He is expected to contest the party’s primary election on Tuesday next week.

Obi, a frontline presidential aspirant dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday over what he termed ‘recent developments’.
