Micheal Aboh, half of the default Nigerian music duo, Zule Zoo is dead.
Mike, as he is fondly called, reportedly passed away recently.
Details of his death remain sketchy at the time of this report.
Meanwhile, his friends and fans have flooded social media with tributes and farewell notes.
Mike and his partner, Al-Hassan Ibrahim, aka Ibro, together known as Zule Zoo, came into the limelight after the success of their smash hit, ‘Kerewa’.
The song which was banned by the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, NBC, for obscene content was the delight of many music lovers in Nigeria in the early 2000s.
The enchanting duo held the whole country spellbound for the few years they dominated the airwaves with their spectacular dance steps and swaying moves.
They broke up in 2008, which resulted in Mike releasing a 12 tracks solo album titled “E dey pain me.” Since then, nothing has been heard from either of the music duo.
