Nigerian singer-songwriter, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popular known as Kizz Daniel, has quit smoking.

The ”Don’t Pour Me Water” crooner who turned 28 today Sunday 1st of May, took to Instagram to announce that he has ended his smoking habit.

According to him, he took the decision in honour of his kids and to mark his birthday.

“To celebrate my birthday and for the sake of my kids and those that genuinely love me, I quit”, he said, before bringing out a pack of cigarette to crush off. He also advised other smokers to end the habit for the sake of their health.

Kizz Daniel is not the first Nigerian celebrity to have come out to denounce smoking. Veteran producer and Marvin records boss, Don Jazzy, “Over the moon” crooner, Dr. Sid, and several other celebrities have announced quitting smoking in the past.

Multi-award-winning singer and head honcho of 30 Billion Gang, Davido, also promised to end his smoking addiction but is yet to do so two years after his vow.
