Nigeria Police promotes 152 officers to new ranks

No fewer than 152 Police officers have been promoted to different ranks in Zamfara State.

The promotion was released by the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Usman Alkali Baba, in collaboration with the Police Service Commission.

The State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ayuba Elkana, while decorating the newly promoted Police officers in Gusau, the state capital, charged them to be more determined and committed to their duties.

He also admonished them to see their promotion as an additional responsibility that requires more professionalism, hard work and discipline.

DSP Nuhu Samuel who spoke on behalf of the newly promoted officers, thanked the the Inspector General of Police, the Police Service Commission and the Commissioner of Police for finding them worthy of the promotion.

He assured that the newly promoted officers would redouble their commitment in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities.
