Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the proposed nationwide ban on commercial motorcycles, popularly known as “Okada.”
The Federal government on Thursday during the national security council meeting at the presidential villa, Abuja, considered placing a nationwide ban on commercial motorcycles as part of the measures to curb the escalating insecurity in the country.
Reacting to the proposal via microblogging app, Twitter, on Monday, Sani said the ban will affect the lives of many.

Sharing a photo of a commercial motorcyclist and a female passenger, the former lawmaker wrote;
“The nation proposed nationwide ban on commercial motorcycles popularly known as Okada will affect the lives of many legendary users.”
Commercial motorcycles are banned across major cities in the country, including; Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Jos, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.
